It was during the height of the pandemic when my husband first spotted an ad for Novatown Chinese Restaurant on Facebook. With his love for Chinese cuisine and the restaurant’s glowing reviews, we couldn’t resist placing an order. Back then, demand was so high that we had to order at least 8–12 hours in advance. We paid via GCash and arranged pickup through Lalamove the next day.
